What’s Coming in Fluent Forms 6.3.0: AI Chat Forms, MCP Server, and More

Fluent Forms 6.3.0 drops in August 2026, and this update is unlike any we’ve shipped before. Here’s everything that’s landing soon: a fully conversational AI Chat Form, an MCP server that connects your forms to AI agents, Vue 3 foundations, and a batch of fixes.

The Two Headline Features 

Two new features define this release more than anything else: AI Chat Form and MCP Server. They’re both about Fluent Forms doing more without requiring more from the person building them.

AI Chat Form (Pro)

AI Chat Form is our new feature that you will be able to access in the Pro version. Instead of a static form layout the user fills in, it presents a conversational AI experience directly inside the form. The user types, the form responds, and the interaction drives toward the submission outcome you’ve designed.

This is distinct from Conversational Forms, which step through pre-set questions one at a time. AI Chat Form can handle open-ended input, interpret it, and guide the session dynamically. Here’s how the AI chat form works:

MCP Server (Free, opt-in)

The MCP Server will be shipped with 18 tools that expose Fluent Forms to AI agents. It’s free and is disabled by default. Turn it on, and your forms become addressable by any agent built on the Model Context Protocol: read entries, trigger forms, check field data, and more; all without writing custom API glue.

This positions Fluent Forms as one of the WordPress form builders with native agent-readiness built in.

What’s Coming New in Fluent Forms Free

Beyond the MCP Server, two updates are coming to the free version in 6.3.0.

Floating Label Input comes to core fields. Labels start in the placeholder position and animate upward when the field is focused or filled. It works with existing field types and fits naturally into the Advanced Form Styler’s output.

Editor-side multiple-dependency handling gets a meaningful improvement. If you’re building forms with complex conditional logic, multiple conditions triggering the same field from different directions, the editor now manages those dependencies more predictably. Previously, edge cases could create conflicting states that were difficult to debug visually.

What’s Coming New in Fluent Forms Pro

Fluent Forms Pro picks up several new fields and improvements alongside AI Chat Form.

Toggle Field is a new input field type: a binary on/off control that works where a checkbox feels less relevant. It shares builder support with the free side and integrates with the form’s conditional logic system from day one.

Dynamic Populate for Dynamic Field solves a workflow gap. The Dynamic Field can now be pre-populated from external data sources at load time, not just on interaction. This matters for forms that pull in user context from a CRM, URL parameters, or query results.

Repeater Container and Field pre-population extends default value support to the Repeater. You can now define default rows and values that appear when the form loads, rather than asking users to start from an empty state every time.

Per-form custom font family lands inside the Advanced Form Styler. Previously, font control at this level required Custom CSS. Now it’s a direct setting per form, making brand-consistent styling faster for anyone managing multiple sites with different type choices.

The Modernization Work Underneath it All 

6.3.0 does more than ship features. This infrastructure investment lands in this release that affect where the plugin goes next.

Vue 3 + Vite foundations mark the first real step in the Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration, and the scope for August is deliberate: one admin app migrated end-to-end to establish the build pipeline and architectural patterns. The editor, entries view, settings, and reports all stay on Vue 2 for now and migrate incrementally in later releases.
