Fluent Forms 5.2.9: Repeater Container Field, User Map Location & More Improvements & Bug Fixes
Happy New Year, everyone! A new year, a new update of Fluent Forms loading.
In 2024’s last update, we shipped Fluent Forms 5.2.5 with lots of feature improvements and bug fixes from user’s suggestions. Later we released a big update for Fluent Forms Free 5.2.7. This month we are back with a new update with lots of improvement and bug fixes.
This update is important because we are shipping two of the most suggested features with lots of improvements and bug fixes.
Let’s dive in –
Repeater Container Field (Pro)
Looking to collect multiple entries of similar information without cluttering your forms? Introducing Repeater Container Fields, let users add sets of related fields as needed in a container. Instead of creating separate fields for each potential entry, you can set up a single group of fields that users can duplicate.
This approach is particularly valuable when gathering information like work experience, where someone might need to list several positions, or skills assessments where multiple entries are common. Not only does this streamline the form-building process, but it also creates a cleaner, more intuitive experience for users filling out forms.
Right now, conditional logic will work only for the whole container. We are looking for expanding this into individual fields in the container near future updates.
User Map Location in Submission (Pro)
Want to better understand where your form submissions are coming from? By capturing geolocation data through Fluent Forms using User Map Location in Submission, you can automatically collect location information when visitors submit your WordPress contact forms.
Whether you’re analyzing your customer base or optimizing shipping logistics, knowing exactly where form submissions originate helps you make more informed decisions. You will need Fluent Forms Google Maps integration to use this user map location in the submission feature.
