Fluent Forms 5.1.7: Admin Approval, Import Entries, Global Inventory, Improvement & Fixes!

With your support, 2023 was a wonderful year for Fluent Forms. We reached two milestones last year, reaching 300k to 400k active installations in 10 months! Now it’s January 2024, time to ship new features for you!
Last year we shipped 16+ updates with new features, bug fixes, and improvements. This year we are planning to focus more on plugin improvements. Here are the new features of Fluent Forms 5.1.7 –
Admin Approval
Before this update, you could only enable double opt-in for your form submissions. You had no control over approving new entries. They were either automatically approved or added to the entries list after the submitter confirmed the double opt-in from their email.
Now you can use the new admin approval system to manually approve any entries from any forms. This may come in handy when you run multiple automation or integrations and don’t want to run it immediately after someone submits a form.
You can customize the email, and send it to the site admin or any other emails if you want. You can automatically delete unapproved and declined entries if not confirmed on certain days. This helps fight spam.

Import Entries
Fluent Forms gives you the flexibility to export and import your forms. But how about importing entries? Yes, now you can do that. One of the most user requested feature.
Go to any forms entry page or go to Tools > Import Entries, there you will find the options to upload your entries file in CSV and JSON file type.
With one click you can migrate your form entries from one website to another quickly.
Global Inventory
When creating a product order form you might want to use the same products in multiple listings. But what would happen if some products go out of stock? How can you sync both forms where you used the same product?
In that case, Global Inventory is your solution. You can use this feature to add multiple products in multiple forms but they will be synced from one place.
If people order them from one product form, it will sync with other forms and show how many products are available in stock. It will also show messages if it is out of stock. For details check out this link.
Contact Form 7 Migration
Another simple yet useful feature of Fluent Forms is Migrator. This is a lifesaver for users who are frustrated with other form plugins and wanted to move their forms to Fluent Forms. We added the ability to migrate forms from WPforms, Gravity Forms, and Ninja Forms. You can now migrate your forms from Contact Form 7 too.
Improvements
Improve Custom Styler
We are continuously improving Fluent Forms custom styler. Now you can add a background image or gradient inside the form container. Numerous minor improvements have been implemented in the custom styler for better user experience.
Address Field Sub Field Label Placement
Now you can edit the label placement of your form address field. You can also choose to hide the label placement if you like.
