Hello there! Another month, another Fluent Forms Update is here! Over 400,000 you are using Fluent Forms as your go-to contact forms plugin for WordPress. Thank you for using Fluent Forms. This year, we investing more time and resources in making Fluent Forms more efficient user-friendly WordPress forms builder.
As we said in our last year in review statement making Fluent Forms the best WordPress form plugin, we are committed this year to improving overall plugin functionalities. This update of ours is an example of that commitment.
What’s new in Fluent Forms 5.1.12
Here are a few new features we shipped in this update —
Added “Name Field” on conversational form
Finally! You can now add name field on conversational form. We know It was long due, but hey it’s here!
Added label shortcode
Previously only values are supported on short code. Many of our users asked for labels too. In this update, we added label shortcode support.
Added JetEngine CPT compatibility
JetEngine is a module-based content plugin, much like ACF. It helps you create custom content on your WordPress website. This is really popular among Elementor, Gutenberg and Bricks Builder users. We were getting tons of requests to add JetEngine CPT compatibility with Fluent Forms, and we are happy to ship it in this update.
Added conversational form “Save and Resume”
This ‘save and resume’ feature is a hit feature on Fluent Forms multi-step forms. Users were asking this on conversational forms, and we delivered. Now “Save and Resume” is available on conversational forms too.
Added entries API logs retry action
Previously users had to retry entries action by going to individual forms settings. Now this is simplified, you can easily retry logs action from Tools, then API logs. You’ll see a new “Reply Action” button next to the red “Delete” button. This will save lots of time.
Added CSS variable support
Another requested feature now you can use css variable to change main base colors & border of fluent form without the hassle of using css class.
--fluentform-primary
: Default Submit button color, Input Focus border colour, Help text icon fill colour, Step form progress active colour--fluentform-secondary
: Input text,focus color, Help message color--fluentform-danger
: Required asterisk colour, Error message colour,Error field border color
--fluentform-border-color

--fluentform-border-radius
